BestStart Pacey Avenue

BestStart Pacey Ave (formally TopKids Pacey Ave) is a beautifully presented childcare centre with a team of teachers who are committed to providing a home-like atmosphere for our tamariki. We have an onsite cook who prepares nutritious and healthy meals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Our Infants and Toddlers - The environment here is designed to stimulate and challenge the needs of infants and toddlers. Each child’s individual routine is followed throughout the day and children are encouraged to develop through their own natural movement, with open ended, natural resources to explore. With a large outdoor environment complete with appropriate climbing equipment and sandpit, our infant and toddler environment is the perfect place for your child to grow and play.

Our Preschool - Our preschool environment is designed with moving, busy children in mind and makes you want to explore. Young children’s inquiring minds are challenged and fostered through open ended resources and play spaces. Our large outdoor environment provides lots of opportunities for children to challenge themselves with climbing equipment, monkey bars, swings and more!

Our Philosophy - Our centre whakatauki/philosophy is “Mā te ahurei o te tamaiti ngā mahi e ārahi – Let the uniqueness of the child guide our work” which means accommodating the needs of individual children and their families.  Parents/family/whānau are extremely important to us and we nurture these with support, and encourage you to share your aspirations for your child.  Individual cultural identity is hugely significant in our centre and working closely together with whānau allows us to discover and understand each family’s unique whakapapa.
