BestStart Apirana Avenue, previously EduKids Apirana, offers quality childcare and education in Glen Innes. Our childcare centre is located at the St Heliers Bay Road end of Apirana Avenue and is within minutes of St Heliers, Glendowie and the train station.

We are committed to our centre vision of “working in partnership with families” as we see this as an integral role to your child’s learning. Our qualified, caring teachers support the children’s learning by providing a stimulating environment and promoting self-help skills that empower life skills that will aid your child’s growth both emotionally and socially.

We cater for the needs of children from 3 months to 5 years old, offering sessions, part-time and full-time care. Our experienced, qualified teachers know how to extend children’s learning and interests and we offer programmes tailored to your child’s individual needs. Our unique Be School Ready initiative has been developed to ensure that children leave the centre as confident, capable learners and prepared for the next step in their education journey.

We practice primary care giving where your baby will have a key teacher responsible for all their care needs and special moments. This builds secure relationships to allow us to support your child as an individual to reach their full potential.
