Jumping in Muddy Puddles with Inframax!

21 Feb 2019

Last week local business Inframax donated a whole box of Red Band gumboots to the BestStart Stratford children! Inframax utilised local businesses Farmlands to purchase the gumboots, and Abstract Signs to get them printed. They then organised for Ilona- the editor from the Stratford Press to come and take photos and talk to our tamariki for the newspaper.

Our children were so excited to test out the new gumboots AND get photographed and interviewed for the newspaper.

What an amazing way for our BestStart children to learn about the Stratford community!

Being the Heart of Community Learning is so important for us at BestStart Stratford and our priority has always been to engage our children in the Stratford community spirit. It was so exciting for our children to be the recipients of such generosity from Inframax. The gumboots will be a huge help in the wet Stratford winter, not only to jump in puddles at BestStart, but we can now put on our wet weather gear and gumboots to visit our Marire and Maryann Resthome friends, the library, and the schools rain or shine!

Thanks Inframax!
